: 2020Muhammad Ikhwan Hanif Bin Khairunizam hails from Jerantut Pahang, is the grandson of Felda Kota Gelanggi Satu settler and a beneficiary of Yayasan Peneraju under the Skil Iltizam Boilerman program. After completing SPM, he was doing odd works such as looking after the family’s livestock and working at cucumber farm. He joined the boiler programme at Skills Asia International under Skills Iltizam Boilerman Programme. He successfully completed both Competency Certificate in Engineering ( Boiler Operation and Maintenance) And Certificate in Professional Boiler Operation and Maintenance.

‘Upon graduating, the country was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic made the job search process difficult for me. However, thanks to my instructors and Skills Asia International for arranging an interview at Malaysia Smelting Corporation Berhad and was accepted to work. Armed with knowledge and determination to improve and help my family, I accepted the offer. I am earning between RM2000.00 to RM 3000 a month. This definitely means a lot for my family.
