CERTIFICATE IN BOILER OPERATION
OBJECTIVE
The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to operate boiler and monitor daily operation of boiler system. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:
Identify boiler operation requirement,
Carry out boiler starting,
Monitor boiler operation,
Carry out emergency boiler shutdown,
Carry out boiler shutdown and
Coordinate boiler annual inspection
METHODOLOGY
- Apart from trainer presentation, this training course will be delivered by the concept of learn-by-doing. Participants will gain their experiences on practical activities that they have to carry out during the training.
